The Digital Skills Accelerator Africa e. V. (DSAA) aims to sustainably strengthen African economies by creating jobs in the digital sector and promoting their long-term growth. The DSAA was established as an agile financing vehicle and project management entity. Through our unique cooperation model, we directly work with private sector companies and significantly reduce the bureaucratic effort involved in co-funding projects. By qualifying our member companies and closely tracking and reporting on the funded programs, we reliably ensure safe and effective investments and demonstrable success. Through the targeted inclusion of marginalized groups such as women or people with disability, the DSAA leverages the full potential of the workforce in Africa.
Who we are
The Digital Skills Accelerator Africa e. V. (DSAA) is an independent non-profit association of ITO and BPO companies. With our member companies and funding partners, we jointly implement programs that create good jobs across the African continent’s ITO and BPO sectors. Through our cooperation model, we can reliably manage and implement projects with multiple funding partners. Since our establishment in 2019, we have successfully completed projects in Ghana, Morocco, Rwanda, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Senegal and Ethiopia.

We create business opportunities for companies and job opportunities for individuals – particularly for marginalised groups within the male-dominated ICT sector like women and persons with disabilities. We recognize that Africa has a huge potential to deliver excellent digital services for the international market. We encourage international companies to join the DSAA to accelerate and strengthen the growth of the digital sector in Africa.
